Empowering Women through Lifelong Learning and Friendship
At Largs SWI, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for women to thrive. Our focus is on lifelong learning, fun, and building lasting friendships. Join us on this journey of growth and empowerment.
Largs SWI was formed in May 2023 and held its inaugural meeting in September 2023. We currently have 45 full time members and approximately 20 guests who come to our meetings on an ad hoc basis.
Monthly group meetings (to which all local women are invited to attend) are held at The AD Cameron Centre, 17-19 Lade Street, Largs KA30 8AZ on the first Wednesday of each month and with weekly coffee/walk meet-ups each Tuesday at 11.00am held at Sharps on Nelson Street, Largs.
Affiliation & Constitution
We are a constituted group that is affiliated to the National SWI and the Ayrshire Federation of the SWI.
Our organising committee is presently made up of 11 members with elections of our senior roles taking place at our June AGM in 2026. The committee meets once per month to discuss matters arising and to review previous and plan future group meetings.
