Taking place at Dunn Memorial Hall, Church Street, Largs, from 22nd–23rd March 2025, this one-of-a-kind event will appeal to brides-to-be, fashion enthusiasts, and anyone with a love for history and romance.
Visitors will also be able to admire the incredible work of students from Glasgow Kelvin College, who transformed wedding dresses worth £25,000 into bespoke bridal gowns. As part of a fast fashion sustainability project, the students rescued dresses destined for landfill and gave them a second life as dreamy wedding gowns. Their efforts were recognised with The International Green Gown Award for Next Generation Skills and Learning.
The exhibition will also feature a stunning wedding outfit designed by Catherine Walker c. 1990, offering visitors a rare glimpse of couture bridal fashion from one of Britain’s most celebrated designers.

Largs SWI have now signed off for 2024 following our hugely successful Craft Fayre and December meet-up.
We are now looking forward to January's Swish night. If this is new to you, you bring along some clothing items or accessories (bags, belts, hats - no shoes or jewellery) that you no longer want that are in clean and good condition. For each item you will receive a token (up to a maximum of four) that you can then use to 'buy' a perfect piece for your wardrobe that has been brought in by someone else! This is slow fashion at it's best! We are also supporting Largs Foodbank and ask that you bring in a donation of food (non-perishable & with a good date) that will help families in Largs.
